1. The main objectives of establishing Kanpur Boat Club is mainly to develop it as a Water Sports Centre which will be the first of its kind in the state. 2. Movement of tourists who walks along with Ganga. 3. To establish water sports centre under which national level competition are organized and provide training of water sports to local level students. 4. To organize camps for the preparation of national & international level competitions. 5. Establishment of Water Sports Academy which will be formed by Sports Authority of India, Sports Department, Uttar Pradesh and local resources to prepare the children of populations of Ganga banks to prepare them as national & international level sportsman. 6. For the promotion of tourism, create facilities of ride through Speed/ Motor Boat in Ganga river. 7. Arrangement of 20-30 seater under PPP model from Ganga Barrage to Bithoor, due to which people celebrate functions & official meetings along with Ganga ride. 8. To establish Cafeteria, Gymnasium and other indoor outdoor sports facilities
